Colorado State Sen. Scott Bright is setting his ambitions high for his first term as senator for District 13, looking to tackle several problems that affect Coloradans in ways both big and small.
Colorado’s biggest problem is the cost of living, Bright said in an interview — a concern echoed by a majority of the state’s residents in recent polls. Earlier this month, Bright and other state Republicans unveiled a plan to reduce the fees that Coloradans pay yearly by an average of $4,500 through four bills presented by him and his colleagues.
