General Assembly Republicans Reveal “Commitment To Colorado” Legislation

DENVER – On Wednesday, January 12th, Senate and House Republicans will unveil the most robust opening-day legislative agenda - entitled "The Republican Commitment to Colorado" - in recent history. Over 40 bills will be introduced as part of this package.

WHO: Speakers include Senate Minority Leader Chris Holbert (R-Douglas County), House Minority Leader Hugh McKean (R-Loveland), State Senator Barbara Kirkmeyer (R-Weld County), House Assistant Minority Leader Tim Geitner (R-El Paso County), State Senator Rob Woodward (R-Loveland), and State Representative Dan Woog (R-Weld County). Attendees include members of the Senate and House Republican caucuses.

WHAT: Press conference to unveil Senate and House Republicans' "Commitment to Colorado" legislative package - the largest such legislative package in modern Colorado history. A question-and-answer period will follow the press conference.
