DENVER – Today, the Colorado Senate Republicans held their caucus leadership elections for the 74th General Assembly.
Colorado Senate Republicans elected the following positions:
- Minority Leader: Paul Lundeen (R – Monument)
- Assistant Minority Leader: Bob Gardner (R – Colorado Springs)
- Minority Whip: Barbara Kirkmeyer (R – Weld County)
- Caucus Chair: Jim Smallwood (R – Parker)
“I am grateful for the confidence my colleagues have vested in me to lead this caucus,” Minority Leader Paul Lundeen remarked. “There is ample work that must be done. Colorado remains unaffordable, our schools continue to fail, and crime is continuing to climb. I am eager to introduce our solutions that will address these problems and bring some relief to the People of Colorado.”
