BIOGRAPHY
Senator Bright is a dedicated conservative civic and business leader who has devoted his life to serving the communities within Senate District 13. He was born and raised by a single mother until the age of nine, when his mother married her husband, with whom she has now shared 43 years of marriage. Scott graduated from Pacific Union College, earning a degree in Business Management and Accounting, along with a minor in Religion.
Since 1990, Scott has been actively involved in the field of education and is the third-generation owner of his family’s early childhood education business. Under his leadership, the company has expanded to include 25 licensed childcare and preschool facilities, employing 250 dedicated staff members and serving over 2,000 families in Weld County. His hands-on experience in managing these facilities, combined with his family’s background in education, gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities within Colorado.
Senator Bright has lived in Senate District 13 his entire life and has two children: Devaney, who is 25, recently married, and has achieved a Master’s degree in Reproductive Technology at CSU, and Chase, who is 21 and currently pursuing an aviation career in Alabama.
