President Grantham Issues Statement in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
(DENVER) – Today, Senate President Kevin J. Grantham issued the following statement to honor the accomplishments and character of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
“Because he had a dream in 1963, America is a better place today, in 2018. Today, we remember the life of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who had the strength and conviction to challenge the wrong in our society, and in doing so, changed our nation forever,” said President Grantham.
“We must never forget men like Dr. King, who dedicated their lives to ensuring equality under the law and equal opportunity for all Americans, regardless of the color of their skin. Let us take today to remember Dr. King, his legacy, and the amazing impact he has had on this country.”
