BIOGRAPHY

Marc Catlin is the State Senator for Colorado’s 5th District. The district includes Delta, Eagle, Garfield, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, and Pitkin counties. Marc Catlin previously served as State Representative for the 58th District. Rep. Catlin was the first member in the history of Colorado to be placed in a leadership position for a standing committee of reference, while serving in the minority party.

Prior to serving the people of Colorado, Marc Catlin managed the largest irrigation association on the Western Slope for over a decade. Catlin’s passion for protecting critical water supplies, ensuring clean drinking water, maintaining healthy watersheds, and protecting productive agriculture has led him to serve as the Vice President of the Colorado River District.

Marc Catlin has called Montrose, Colorado his home for his entire life, where he continues to be involved in his family’s generational row crop farm. Senator Catlin will continue to honor the Western Slope values, culture, and way of life, while he serves the people of Colorado.
