Senate Republicans: “We’re focused on you, Colorado”

(DENVER) – Colorado Senate Republicans released their 2018 General Assembly Session introductory video today, entitled “We’re focused on you, Colorado,” on their Facebook and YouTube page.

“If you’ve been paying attention to Washington lately, it’s hard to see where our elected officials are getting anything done,” President Kevin Grantham (R-Cañon City) says in the video’s introduction. “But here in Colorado, Senate Republicans are not just talking about getting things done, we are getting things done.”

Highlighting the differences between the Washington D.C.-style of politics and the legislative process in Denver, the video features Republican Senators from every corner of Colorado speaking to the benefits of a citizen legislature, the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights, and bipartisanship.

Looking forward, Senators also briefly speak to their priorities for the 2018 session, such as energy, pension reform, roads, education, and public safety.
