DENVER - More people are learning they've fallen victim to a glitch in Colorado's official health insurance exchange, which caused people to begin the year with no health coverage instead of having their plans renewed automatically.
As 9NEWS first reported Friday, the Connect for Health Colorado website had a design flaw which canceled plan renewals if customers browsed other plan options while logged into their accounts on the exchange.
State lawmakers from both parties are concerned that there may be more customers who don't yet know they have no coverage right now.
"My suspicion is there aren't dozens, but there are probably thousands of people who have significant problems, who really don't have coverage today that they thought they had," said state Sen. Kevin Lundberg, a Republican who sits on the oversight committee for the health exchange.
