Grantham Announces Major Staff Change

Senate President Kevin J. Grantham (R-Canon City) issued the following statement today concerning the departure of former Chief of Staff Jesse Mallory:

"We have a notable staff change in our office to announce today. Former Chief of Staff Jesse Mallory left for a new opportunity as State Director of Americans for Prosperity Colorado. Naturally, we’re saddened by his departure, but also pleased that he’ll be working for an organization we have a lot of respect for, even when we differ at times on policy details. Jesse brought a lot of passion, experience and street smarts to his work; he deserves a good measure of credit, in my opinion, for the fact that Republicans regained control of the Colorado State Senate. So we’re extremely grateful for his contributions here and wish him similar success in this next endeavor.  Ariana Busby, who began working for Senate Republicans in 2013 as an intern and rose to the position of Policy Director, will be assuming Jesse’s responsibilities moving forward."
