Denver -- Senate Transportation Committee Chairman Randy Baumgardner (R-Hot Sulphur Springs) reacted with disappointment Friday after a roadway revitalization bill, which already had bipartisan buy-in from the Transportation Legislation Review Committee, was summarily killed by Democrat leaders in a party-line vote in another committee, using transparently illegitimate procedural objections.
